Mippi Accessorize! Feb 24, 2011 11:09 AM Hey guys! I'm going to a wedding in April and just bought this beautiful dress from JCrew. Now I just need to accessorize! I've been having a lot of fun with it so I thought I'd offer the challenge up to the community as well. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with, especially since the dress itself is so basic. Have fun, and I'll post what I decide to wear once I finally get down to it :-P

Young Hip Chic Celebrity News: The Skinny on Too Thin Models (Chanel Iman) Apr 10, 2010 12:40 PM (Image from Just Jared) According to one of my favorite blogs, Bossip.com , Sweden is not very excited about a new H&M campaign that features Chanel Iman , one of the most popular models in the industry (she is very young, hip and chic). Swedes state that she is not a good image to the public because she is too skinny! What’s interesting to me is that I previously taped a webisode of "Fashionista Files- (webisode 1), Are skinny models going out of style?" I made mention that the modeling world may be making a change in the way that models are viewed. The industry may be accepting the fact that people want to see clothes on women that are like them; real. This article confirmed my thoughts! I am pleased to know that even though I am a young fashionista, I have voice that counts. I wonder if my show is what sparked the conversation. I guess I will never know, but I do know that I want to make a difference in the world of fashion and definitely make a change in the modeling industry because there are so many misconceptions about models and modeling that seem to snag young ladies quite often. Even though we have shows like America’s Next Top Model, models think that the industry is easy, fast money, and glamour. Many learn the hard way that those things couldn’t be further from the truth. Check out the show Fashionista Files, and let me know what you think. For more of my articles check out: www.younghipchic.onsugar.com Fashionably Out, Tweety Elitou
